Researchers of SLAM-DAST project will attend the 2023 edition of the European Workshop on Optical Fiber Sensors (EWOFS) which will take place in Mons, Belgium, from the 23rd to the 26th of May 2023. The authors will present their activity on SLAM-DAST sensor R&D with a poster on the development of distributed acoustic sensors.

EWOFS is one of the major international events for the optical fiber sensors community and is the right place to learn about the recent academic and industrial advances on the technology.

The workshop is organized with plenary sessions of invited speakers presenting the state-of-art of their specific domain and thematic poster sessions for all the contributed papers. Each poster session is followed by small group discussions with the purpose to analyse and comment the contributions. The conclusion of each group is then presented to all the attendees. The purpose of this format is to optimize efficient and fruitful discussions and interactions within the optical fiber sensing community.
